Writer Wednesday - NaNoWriMo Lesson

As predicted, I've been pretty quiet here on the blog. If you didn't see why, it's because I'm doing National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) this year. And it's kind of kicking my butt. I'm not crazed and sleepless like I was over the summer when trying to finish Power and getting it ready for publication while juggling a hundred other major life events going on. It's kicking my butt in a growing pains kind of way.

I explain how over on my blog that's more specifically for writers, A-Mused Writer. Whether you're participating in NaNo or not, if you're a writer or just interested in what it's like behind the scenes for a writer, I hope you'll check it out.

Otherwise, you can find me on Facebook (where I've been posting excerpts of this new project) and even on Twitter, where I'm checking in but trying not to hang too long. After all, I still have lots of words to write this month.

Thanks for your patience, my lovelies! You are the BEST!

  1. I loved Promise. I wanted to know I you hve your other books in that series in the audible version? I am dying to see how the story continues to unfold, but have no time to sit and read. I listened to your book while working an would love to do the same with the others. Please let me know. My email is ladytellez@yahoo.co

  2. I totally understand as this is my first year at it and it is whipping me too. This is hard! Hang in there though, we can do it!

    1. I don't know about you, but when not in NaNo, I can bang out 50K words in a couple of weeks. At least, with the Soul Savers I can. I think part of it is these new characters, but also part of it is knowing more than I used to. I can't carry on oblivious to everything that's wrong like I used to be able to do.

But yes, I know we can both do it. Best wishes to you, dear friend!

  3. Thank you so very much for your response. I so look forward to the audio release of Purpose. You are a very talented writer.
I am actually going to begin writing a metaphysical self help book. Any advice for someone who is just starting the process?
I love it that you are available to your fans. I am also in the public eye and have vowed to be available as well. Blessings!
